Spouting a crackpot theory or two about an Administration - which lies about everything, all the time, practically begging for paranoia - is more irresponsible than suggesting that we should prepare to wage religious war on Islam.

She doesn't defend Tancredo, to her credit, but her sense of scale is still lacking. As Hugh Hewitt noted, of all people, Tancredo just threatened 1.1 billion people and gave bulletin board material to Jihadi recruiters. Teddy Kennedy calling the Iraq war a "fraud" - a word which, by the way, applies to a huge cross-section of the Bush administration - doesn't even come close.
